Urban Living II represents a further reinforcement on the residential asset class, looking strategically at the areas surrounding Milan, where there are still many abandoned spaces that can be regenerated and transformed, bringing immediate benefits to communities and, more generally, to the redevelopment of the real estate stock, both in terms of the sustainability and energy efficiency of buildings, and in terms of the quality of living and the strengthening of the social fabric.
In October 2022, the fund finalised the acquisition of the former Ercole Marelli area in Sesto San Giovanni, on the outskirts of Milan. This is a long-discontinued industrial site covering approximately 97,000 sqm.
The development will be mixed use, with a predominance of residential, and the project masterplan was designed by Mario Cucinella Architects.
