In accordance with the Italian law on whistleblowing (Law No. 179/2017), the Company acknowledges and protects the right to file circumstantiated reports, based on factual elements, of unlawful conduct or violations of the Organisation, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231/2001 of which a person becomes aware in the course of his or her functions.
The Company ensures the confidentiality of the whistleblower in the process of managing the report, including with the aim of preventing hypothetical risk of retaliation and/or discrimination against the whistleblower.
No form of direct or indirect retaliation or discrimination against the whistleblower for reasons directly or indirectly relating to the report is allowed.
All forms of abuse of whistleblowing, such as, without limitation, intentional defamation or slander, improper use and intentional exploitation of the system, are likewise prohibited. In this regard, the Company reserves the right to sanction those who, through malice or negligence, make serious whistleblowing reports found to be inaccurate.
